Sundays

Junior Church and Youth Church meet in the UMC halls (Old Baptist church buildings) during the 11am service.  During our time in Junior Church we follow a theme for each month - through stories, games and craft activities.

 

1st Sunday of the month - meet at 10.45am allowing parents time to walk accross to St. Andrew's for the start of the 11am service.  The young people from Junior Church and Youth Church join the latter part of this service. 

 

2nd, 3rd, and 5th Sundays - We meet in church and stay for the first 15 minutes of the main service and then the children and leaders walk accross to the UMC halls. 



The 4th Sunday every month is an All Age Worship service.  The children and young people prepare for and take part in this service and there is no separate Junior Church on that Sunday.

 

(Junior Church and Youth Church is for children and young people aged 4 to 18).





For younger children, or those who prefer to remain with their parents in church, we have a children's area with books and activities along with padded floor mats for babies.  There are also activity bags with books and activities to take to your chosen seat in church.


During the week

Busybodies Toddler Group meet on Wednesday mornings form 10am to 12 noon.  We welcome anyone who cares for children from birth to school age.

We are a friendly drop-in group and each week we offer a craft activity, snack time and song time.  We have toys for all ages and a separate safe baby area.


Pram services are aimed at all pre-school children and their carers.  These are arranged around festivals and will be advertised locally and on the diary pages of this site.
